Welcome to new Beare Equestrian instructor Sophie Welcome to new Beare Equestrian instructor Sophie Tice! Sophie has known Brenda Beare since she began riding at nine years old. She has competed up to the intermediate/ FEI 3* level and has a background in Pony Club. She was selected two years in a row to participate in the Developing Riders Under 18 program. She was also selected by the Area VI team to compete in the North American Youth Championships at both the CCI 2* and CIC 3* level. Sophie is passionate about helping others achieve their riding goals. She aims to provide specialized training that makes her students feel safe, secure, strong, and connected with the horse.
Welcome to our new instructor/trainer Ari Kann-Ort Welcome to our new instructor/trainer Ari Kann-Ortua! Ari has competed through the Preliminary level, with a dream of riding at the upper-most levels of the sport. She also loves developing young horses and working with horses that can be “tricky,” as well as working with both riders and their horses in developing their partnership with a focus on building confidence, trust, and happiness. She's also a certified personal trainer! Welcome Ari!
Three pairs braved the weather to show at Yarra Ya Three pairs braved the weather to show at Yarra Yarra today. Opting for either a warm up at home before hand or just a quick lunge. It worked out swimmingly for everyone! Rachel and Jax brought home two solid scores of 64% at 3rd level with much more relaxation. Perhaps this weird way of showing makes him happier?! Who would have thought! Julie and Pearl WON their class of 5 riders at Training Level with a nice score of 65.69%! Their best to date. Brenda and Willa put in two super tests with NO warm up for two 67%! This little horse is just the best. <3 We're looking forward to the next one! #teambest #teamdevoucoux

When you have a great team with a positive attitude not even a little torrential downpour can get in the way of a good time. So proud of how everyone performed in the show and for cross country afterwards. This is my favorite show to start the season with for a confidence boost and to highlight what we need to focus on for the rest of the season.
