Two pairs went to Vacaville to wrap up 2025 (or start 2026)! It was absolutely perfect horse show weather. CNDC always puts on a great show.
Brenda and Nova went out at 3rd level again to wrack up more show miles for this boy. Asking for relaxation and not pushing for flash, Brenda and Nova ended up with two 1st place finishes and scores of 67% and 65.5%. It was a successful show because Nova kept his cool and the solid scores were a great bonus. Looking forward to 2026 with him.
Rachel and Jax went out and took another stab at PSG with much improved canter work from last time (though there were mistakes in the trot this time). Unfortunately that one change still isn’t coming through reliably and they were out of the 60s again, but they got REAL close with a 59.559%. This was Jax and Rachel’s last show together after a 6 year partnership. Rachel needs to move on to ride a horse that is easier on her body with her back injury. We’re proud of how far they were able to go together, even if she didn’t quite meet her goal of her Silver Medal with him.
This is the wrap of showing for 2025. Looking forward to next year with our team!
