Kelly and Tamale and Brenda and Willa made the trip up to the North Bay for the Marin Chapter Show. Both horses were well behaved and enjoyed the show location.
Kelly and Tamale tried their hooves at 2nd Level Test 3. The first test Tamale showed too much tension in the walk again and didn’t quite get the job done. The second test was beautiful and Kelly did a beautiful job riding. Unfortunately she was doing such a good job riding (and this being a new test for her), she went of course…twice (it happens to us all). So the score did not mirror how beautiful the test was, but it showed a huge improvement and beautiful trot work for some nice individual box scores. It will come together at Yarra Yarra.
Willa and Brenda continued their successes with two lovely tests at 2nd Level as well with continued good scores (and two more first place ribbons). If Willa continues to shine (like she always has), she’ll be qualified next week for Champs!
