Two pairs from Team BEST made the trip up to the Dressage Derby at CNDC this weekend. The weather was lovely and the show was well run as always.
The show went pretty well. Trevor and Brenda continued at I1. The first test he was a touch too tense, however it resolved before the second ride and he had a much better showing of himself with a good score of 61.618 that earned a nice blue ribbon. So far Trevor is showing super at the level!
Tamale was feeling it and showed too much tension today. The game plan going forward will be more outings and more shows for him to get a little more used to the exciting show atmosphere. Kelly did a great job handling a lot of horse on the day for two not so shabby scores at 2nd level and a blue ribbon.
It was a good show with a lot of learning and we have good plans to make steps forward at the next show.
