BEST headed over to Yarra Yarra on April 28th in the second of a three weekend in a row show extravaganza for Rachel and Spice.
With an aim to improve off last week and to hit the 60% mark again at 4th level, Rachel and Spice had a very successful show. Despite a “tempi tantrum” in their first test (where Spice decided 1 tempis should be required at the level and did a number of beautiful ones instead of his medium canter), Rachel pulled it together to finish the test strong and got a number of much desired 7’s on their test to miss out on 60%.
In their second test, despite Spice being a bit tired after his earlier exertions, they pulled out a lovely test and hit their 60% target for Rachel’s second score at 4th level towards her silver medal. In the process she earned her CDS Sapphire award today! Nice work you two!
With homework to do and much learning done, this show was a success and we are looking forward to next week!
