Beare Equestrian took 4 ladies and their 4 bay Thoroughbreds to show at Yarra Yarra this weekend for our first show of the 2017 with great successes all around. It was a beautiful sunny spring day (though a bit warm) and perfect for showing. It was a wonderful way to kick off the show season!
Caitlin and Tessa performed at their second real dressage show ever. Contessa was very round and responsive and their Training 3 test was their best test ever. First level was a little more challenging, but there is a lot to look forward too and work on for the next show.
Molly and Belle did their first recognized dressage show and were placed 1st and 2nd in their training level classes and received an “Elegant Pair” comment from the judge! We are excited to see how far this team can go this year.
Lydia and Quinn rode at 3rd level and dusted the cobwebs off of their performances after a long winter. We are looking forward to their next show and Lydia finishing her scores for her bronze medal.
Rachel and Spice finished their first level scores towards both her bronze and GEM and qualified for RAAC in the process. Onward and upward to 2nd level!
